Bamagotchi

Decor of the Bamagotchi's rooftop bar

Bamagotchi is a new kind of eating space just a stone’s throw from the Pathé-Dijon cinema complex. Incorporating a number of different zones, including a 100m2 terrace and a glass-covered rooftop patio, it reinvents itself throughout the day to ensure the good times just keep on coming.

An innovative concept and a fusion of vibes

Bamagotchi is a playful space that turns its back on cookie-cutter concepts, flaunting a design that blends street art, pop culture, cinema references and plant-filled Japanese-style zen. Open 7 days a week from 9.30am to midnight and until 2am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the space constantly changes throughout the day. Serving everything from morning coffees to late-night cocktails as well as a lunchtime menu, it is the perfect place to take a break or enjoy spending time with family or friends before heading off to explore the Cité.

A menu that’s made to be shared

Bamagotchi is all about celebrating togetherness and local fare. With over 14 draft beers and 25 bottled beers from local brewers, it is first and foremost a bar for beer lovers. But if cocktails are more your thing, it has plenty of those, too. In terms of food, chef Florian Guyot has opted for pizzas topped with local produce and other house-made fare. With a generous lunch menu, sharing platters and a warm welcome at any time of day, all the ingredients are most certainly there to guarantee a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Aperitifs and a party vibe

As the sun goes down, the atmosphere hots up at Bamagotchi. Music fills the air on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, with bands and DJs taking to the stage as each week draws to a close. Prefer a more low-key vibe? Then simply head upstairs, where the 100m2 glass-covered roof terrace awaits. Enjoy!
