May 1st to September 30: Monday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.
October 1st to April 30: Monday to Friday, 11 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5:30 pm.

Closed May 1st, December 25th and January 1st.

  • La Table des Climats: Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm to 1:30pm and 7pm to 9pm. Sunday lunchtime, from 12h to 13h30. Closed Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesdays. Open from 7pm to 9pm on 24/12, 25/12, 31/12 and 1/01.
  • Le Comptoir de la Cité: Closed on Mondays. Tuesday, 12pm to 2pm. Wednesday, 12pm to 5pm. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12pm to 2pm and 7pm to 9pm. Sunday, brunch from 11am to 2pm.
  • La Cuisine Expérientielle: Tuesday and Wednesday: 11am – 7pm. Restaurant: 12pm – 2:30pm. Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 11am – midnight. Restaurant: 12pm – 2:30pm and 7pm – 10pm. Sunday: 11.30am – 7pm. Sunday brunch: 11.20am – 3.30pm. Cocktail bar: Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 6pm – 12:30am. Open on 23 and 24, 30 and 31/12 from 11am to 3pm. Closed on 25/12 and 1/01.
  • Meurette & Persillé: Open every lunchtime from 11.30am to 2pm. Open Wednesday to Friday from 6pm to 9pm. Open Saturday from 7pm to 9pm.
  • Bamagotchi, beer bar – brasserie: Sunday to Thursday: 11:45am – 11:30pm. Friday and Saturday: 11:45am – 12:30am. Closed 24 and 25/12, 1/01. Open from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 12/31.

  • Le Billot: Daily: 10am – 7.30pm.
  • L’Écaille: Tuesday to Sunday: 10am – 7:30pm.
  • La Planche: Daily: 10am – .30pm.
  • La Gloriette: Daily: 9am-7.30pm.
  • Le Manège à Moutardes: Daily: 10am – 7.30pm.
  • Le Dressoir: Wednesday and Thursday: 11am-6.30pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 11am-7.30pm.

Shops close at 6pm on December 24 and 31. Closed on 25/12 and 1/12.

Le Moulin Bakery: Tuesday to Saturday from : 7.30am – 7.30pm. Sunday: 7.30am-7pm. Closed on Mondays. Closed 12/25 and 1, 2 and 3/01.

How to get to the Cité

The Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin is located :

  • 15 min walk from downtown Dijon
  • 10 min walk from Dijon train station
  • 30 min from the A6 freeway via A38
  • 1h30 from Paris by TGV
  • 1h30 from Lyon by TGV
  • 3 hours from Geneva by car
  • On the first kilometer of the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, wine tourism itinerary through Clos Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune.

10 min walk from Dijon train station.

Special offer: Take advantage of the Exhibitions ticket at the reduced rate of €6.50. The offer applies on presentation of a valid SNCF TER ticket (ticket or season ticket) at the Cité’s ticket office. Plan your TER journey.

  • By tram: Line T2 direction Chenôve – Stop Monge Cité de la gastronomie. On presentation of your one-way Divia ticket, we will give you a free return ticket.
  • By bus: Lines L4 Nation – Marsannay Portes du Sud, L5 Talant Dullin – Université, L9 (from 28 August), B12 Chicago – Plombières, B18 Darcy – Longvic Carmélites.
  • By free Divia City shuttle bus from the town centre.

Bike racks have been positioned at various locations in the area of the Cité. The Monge – Cité de la gastronomie car park has a secure Divia Vélo Park (free for Bus and Tram subscribers, subscription €10 / year).

You can also park your Divia Vélodi directly at the station installed on the Unesco forecourt. Pedestrian access: Rue de l’hôpital

Services and comfort

  • A cloakroom is available at the Cité reception desk
  • You are free to walk with your dog in the Village Gastronomique, but it will not be accepted in the enclosed areas of the Cité, unless if it is a certified assistance dog.
  • The Cité provides parents with a baby-changing area in the toilets.
  • A wifi network covers the whole building and the forecourt : connection is free to the “DIJON-METROPOLE-WIFI” network.
  • Lost property is kept at the disposal of its owner for a period of one to two weeks. After this period, the items will be returned to the police station or the central lost property office of the Préfecture de Police.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel is available on the Cité. A cleaning protocol is in place throughout the site. The air is renewed 100% continuously from outside.
