The Fund’s Mission
To support the educational, cultural, and scientific project of the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin in Dijon, public and private stakeholders have created an endowment fund to organize philanthropic fundraising and ensure its proper use.
Its goal is to promote access to culture and healthy eating for everyone:
- Recipes and the transmission of culinary know-how
- The art of selecting quality ingredients, pairing them with the ideal wine, and preparing them
- The conviviality of festive meals, the rituals associated with them, and life’s important moments
This is the very expression of the French Gastronomic Meal, a cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO in 2010.
