The weekend’s cheese festival offered workshops, dinners and special menus, as well as numerous activities for everyone throughout the Cité, all centred around cheese, to celebrate the Cité’s third anniversary! 🎂
Show les papilles 2025
Every September, the Dijon metropolitan area celebrates gastronomy. The taste and flavour festival “Show les papilles” brought the Cité to life for the fourth consecutive year in September 2025. It was the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of artisanal expertise of the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Companies). A special moment to discover, taste and enjoy the incredible culinary diversity on offer at this foodie event.

Grand Gaulish Banquet 2026
Dijon may not have been a Gaulish village… but for one evening, we travelled back in time!
On the occasion of this new edition of the Grand Banquet on 23 January 2026, you were able to enjoy a foodie immersion at the heart of a banquet worthy of the most valiant warriors.
Beef Bourguignon Banquet 2025
For this evening, 300 guests were able to savour delicious casseroles of beef bourguignon, accompanied by artists, musicians and magicians.
Laugérias Evening 2024
Where indulgence meets literature: you experienced an exceptional evening in Meursault with actors Bruno Solo and Éric Laugérias, alongside Michelin-starred chef Takashi Kinoshita. On the programme, flavourful stories and a gastronomic dinner in 4 courses, paired with a tasting of local wines.
Game weekends
This year La Cité de la gastronomie was the host venue for two major games weekends in January and December. The atmosphere was vibrant with board games revisited with a gastronomic twist, treasure hunts, giant building blocks, table football and darts tournaments. Fans of retro video games were also happy to find a space dedicated to retrogaming.

It’s the perfect opportunity to plunge into the world of the craft skills of the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Companies). A great way to discover, taste and enjoy the incredible culinary diversity on show at this gourmet event.
Gingerbread Competition
To creatively dive into the magic of Christmas 2025, we offered you our very first decorated gingerbread competition! It was the perfect opportunity to have fun as a family, with friends or on your own. This year, you treated us to gingerbread that was delicious, soft and beautifully decorated.
The first gougère competition
Last July a special day was dedicated to gougères at La Cité in collaboration with the Guilde des goûteurs de gougères de l’Yonne. The event included a gougère competition open to both amateurs and professionals as well as a fun workshop organised by the guild!
La Cité to the rhythm of the music
On 21 June, the Cité moved to the beat of La Fête de la Musique. An evening of over 4 hours of concerts, ranging from electronic to jazz, delighted music lovers and foodies too!
