Through various workshops, events, tastings and meals organised throughout the year at the Cité, the emblematic products of French and local gastronomy are showcased and sublimated. From mustard to cheese and artisan bread, these culinary treasures offer visitors an authentic and tasty experience, revealing all the diversity and quality of our gastronomic terroir.

Comté Tour

This event celebrated local terroir through the stands of around twenty producers, fun activities and gourmet tastings centred around Comté cheese.

Reblochon 2025

Rooted in an ancestral know-how from Haute-Savoie, the raw milk Reblochon AOP is much more than a winter cheese. That day, you were able to taste it raw or cooked, through both savoury and sweet recipes!

Show les papilles !

Every year, the Show les papilles! event celebrates local excellence at the Cité through free demonstrations and tastings hosted by prestigious Living Heritage Companies. This indulgent, festive and musical evening brings together chefs and artisans to offer the public a moment of sharing, enlivened by numerous activities.

The Cheese Festival

To mark the Cité’s 3rd anniversary, celebrated on 3 and 4 May, the Cheese Festival offered workshops, dinners and special menus, as well as numerous activities for everyone centred around the region’s iconic cheeses.

National Charcuterie Trophy 2025

Created by the Association Charcuterie Passion et Transmission (CPET), the 1st National Charcuterie Trophy brought together more than twenty apprentice and professional candidates at the Cité. The public was able to attend the presentation to the jury, the exhibition of buffets created by the candidates, as well as the award ceremony in the Cité’s hall.

MAF Pastry Competition 2024

Toque on head, spatula in hand and the sharp eye of the judges… From as early as 6am, the Ferrandi campus in Dijon was buzzing with excitement for the 2024 Best Apprentice of France (MAF) pastry competition. The local branch of the famous Parisian school welcomed fourteen candidates from all corners of mainland France and overseas territories.

Gingerbread Competition

To creatively dive into the magic of Christmas 2025, we offered you our very first decorated gingerbread competition! It was the perfect opportunity to have fun as a family, with friends or on your own. This year, you treated us to gingerbread that was delicious, soft and beautifully decorated.

Gougère Competition

In July 2023, a special day was dedicated to the gougère at the Cité in collaboration with the Guilde des goûteurs de gougères de l’Yonne (Yonne Gougère Tasters’ Guild). The event included a gougère competition open to both amateurs and professionals, as well as a fun workshop hosted by the guild!

Chapelle des Climats et des terroirs Exhibition

Come and discover our exhibition at the Chapelle des Climats et des terroirs. Explore the gourmet products, gastronomic celebrities and iconic recipes that undoubtedly make Bourgogne-Franche-Comté an exceptional land for lovers of fine food and drink! Discover the secrets behind the region’s pastries, confectionery, biscuits and chocolates, then come and play with the names of vineyard plots using fun illustrated cubes and a map tracing the origins of place names.

Where can you taste them?

There’s never a dull moment! The food court alleys offer a gourmet circuit where you can have a drink or a bite to eat (boards, snacks, sweet bar) or shop in the specialist boutiques. From brasserie to gourmet, the restaurants offer a menu to suit every taste. To stimulate your appetite, you can try out new food and wine pairings or explore the Cave de la Cité… Enjoy your meal!
